Air Force has attacked to the LTTE Front Defence Line at 10.15a.m at Kalliadanchan area using MI 24 fighter jets this morning (26), the security sources say.
The sources confirmed that the LTTE Front Defence Line has completely been destroyed with several bunkers by the attack and heavy damages were occurred to the LTTE.
The Air force has also attacked on boat production factory at 10.50a.m at Wishwamadukulam in Mullaithivu this morning. The pilots had confirmed the controlling centre that the boat production factory was totally destroyed.
Meanwhile, Media Center for National Security says that two police officers were killed and four were injured due to a claymore blast on Thandiadi-Walakalai road at 9.30a.m in Batticaloa this morning. The injured four has been admitted to the Polonnaruwa Hospital. Among the injured, two were Special Task Force (STF) soldiers. By Shiromi Rathnayake and Rohan Welikumbura
